TESTIMONIALS

St. Coletta’s of Illinois’ participants are what make this job the best.

They bring out the best in me and make every day fun. The participants help make my day better, even though our jobs are to help the participants.

You get to hear about their families, their friends, what they like to do, what they don’t like to do, crack jokes with them and do activities they are interested in. Honestly, it is like talking to one of your best friends."

Danielle Goga

Clinical Therapist

When I came to St. Coletta’s in 2003,

I thought it would just be a transitional job. But then I got to know the people. It’s the most gratifying thing when (the participants) get to know you and see you as a friend. They all have different personalities and I’ve built a bond with a lot of these guys. The same can be said of the staff. We all work well together; it’s a very supportive environment.”

Every village has its heroes.

The heroes at St. Coletta’s are the people we serve. They keep us humble. We are their captive audience.  That’s the very core of St. Coletta’s that I like most.”
