Knights of Columbus Council 6993 donates 48 new winter coats
This winter will be a little warmer for individuals at St. Coletta’s of Illinois, thanks to the generosity of the Knights of Columbus St. Mary of Mokena Council 6993, who delivered 48 brand-new coats on Oct. 21.
The donation, now a cherished annual tradition, provides much-needed warmth for both students at St. Coletta’s Kennedy School and adults in the Community Day Services program. St. Coletta’s, a non-profit social service agency, offers educational, residential, and vocational training services to children and adults with developmental disabilities throughout the south and southwest suburbs.
"The Knights of Columbus continue to be invaluable partners, helping us meet the needs of our participants each year," said Heather Benedick, St. Coletta’s CEO.
