Adds excitement to St. Coletta's 35th Annual Kennedy Golf Invitational

Jason Keller of Naperville achieved a remarkable milestone during St. Coletta’s 35th Annual Kennedy Golf Invitational on August 19 at Crystal Tree Golf and Country Club. Keller made his first-ever hole-in-one, marking a historic moment for both himself and the tournament.

Keller's unforgettable shot was made on the challenging par-3 10th hole, where he flawlessly sunk the ball in one stroke. This achievement is especially significant as it is the first hole-in-one in the 35-year history of the Kennedy Golf Invitational.

Even more incredible is that just as Keller’s foursome approached, Donnisha, a St. Coletta’s participant monitoring hole 10 with two employees, confidently predicted that someone would score a hole-in-one that day. Moments later, Keller did exactly that. Afterward, he declared Donnisha his good luck charm for the amazing shot.

The event, which supports children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, has long been a cornerstone of the Foundation's fundraising efforts. This year's invitational raised crucial funds to support St. Coletta's programs and services, and Keller's memorable hole-in-one added an extra layer of excitement to the day.

"To witness a moment like this at our tournament is truly special," said St. Coletta’s CEO Heather Benedick. "Jason's hole-in-one will go down in the history books of the Kennedy Golf Invitational, and we couldn't be happier that it happened during a tournament that does so much good for our community."

Keller's achievement was met with cheers from fellow golfers and spectators, and it served as a highlight in a day filled with camaraderie and philanthropy. His historic shot is a reminder of the incredible experiences that can be had while supporting a meaningful cause.
